Orka Advisory was engaged by the client to deliver a workshop titled “Introduction to ESG” to participants across the Asia Pacific region. The session aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of ESG principles, their relevance to financial decisionmaking, and how they support overall risk management. The workshop was designed for research analysts, banking, and investment professionals, offering valuable insights into how ESG impacts corporate strategy and stakeholder expectations.
The engagement was structured around the workstreams required to address the client's specific context, priorities and objectives.
Developed a comprehensive curriculum focused on introducing the ESG framework, its components (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and its role in risk management. The session included discussions on key considerations for corporations and investors, as well as the influence of ESG on stakeholder engagement.
Delivered an engaging session tailored to the client’s needs, utilising interactive discussions, case studies, and practical insights to illustrate how ESG factors influence financial decisions. Topics covered included risk identification, corporate pressures, stakeholder expectations, and assessing ESG performance using publicly available information.
